The heart of autumn is one of the most exciting times to forage, with a rich diversity of wild mushrooms making their appearance. Join Mike Kempenich, aka The Gentleman Forager, as we explore prime mushroom habitats in search of Maitake, Lobster mushrooms, and the elusive Porcini.
This foray is designed to expand your knowledge of fall mushrooms, sharpen your identification skills, and teach you where to find these highly sought-after species. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced forager, there’s always something new to learn in the woods.
After the foray, we’ll enjoy a freshly made mushroom pizza lunch, because nothing brings foragers together like good food and great company!
